Today is 元宵節, or known as 上元 ( じょうげん ) in Japanese, Chap Goh Mei in Malaysia and Singapore. Also known as Chinese version of Valentines Day, a day celebrating love and affection between lovers in Chinese tradition and culture.

Anyway i am not going to celebrate it anyway. I going to Mid Valley Megamall to have my haircut.

Inside most of the shopping malls, the centre open space will display some exhibition or something like that. In festive season they also did some very awesome decorations and some performances.

VHobby is another great place for figurine collectors to spend their money. Mostly what i saw is Star Wars, Transformers ... from light saber to figurines ... wow

As i said, i am a very stupid/dumb/nerd gamer in the universe ( i don't know ). I did played Final Fantasy game but i got bored of it as i don't know WHY....

So i heard this is the latest, FFXIII Lightning

I kinda love the latest Final Fantasy XIII .... sadly i don't have any console and time to play it. I only have my Android phone and a Windows 7 desktop at my house.

Anime Tech @ 3rd Floor Mid Valley

BRING ME HOME .... INSIDE IS SO CROWDED !!

Anime Tech sells a lot of Japanese animation ( aka anime ), game/anime OST ( Original Sound Track ), anime merchandises ( from keychain to pushie ), cosplay costumes and figurines .

Well because today wasn't my mood to buy anime stuff ( i only have $50 inside my pocket, sad to say ).

After keeping "sigh" in front of the Anime Tech, i keep walking towards cinema direction. What i can say 3rd floor of the mall full of teenagers.

In a big hot day, having a cold drink is very refreshing and "syiok" ( means very excited, fun ). Thats why Chatime is here !

Chatime, best pearl milk tea in town

I am not a regular customer of Chatime last time since they appeared in Kuala Lumpur. Nowadays the weather is hot and i going out quite often, Chatime almost my best drink to cool me down.

Chatime's pearl milk tea ( 茶太珍珠奶茶 ) is their featured drink. Compares to other pearl milk tea sellers, Chatime provides the best pearl. And it is not very expensive too.

Chatime has two branches in Mid Valley Megamall, one is at 3rd Floor near cinema, another one located at Lower Ground Floor at The Gardens Mall, which is beside Mid Valley Megamall.

Today i didn't order the pearl milk tea, i ordered Uji Matcha ( 宇治抹茶 ).

My drink

Because today is Malaysia's public holiday, thats why a lot of people watching movies at cinema. Recently i only watched < Underworld : Awakening > staring by Kate Beckinsale.

After finished my drink, i took the escalator down to Ground Floor to continue my "hunting" to The Gardens Mall.

From Centre Court to The Gardens

There is 4 ways getting from Mid Valley Megamall to The Gardens Mall.

Lower Ground Floor, near the Beard Papa , Centre Court
Ground Floor, search for Starbucks.
1st Floor, find the Sushi Q ( which i mentioned just now )
2nd Floor, IT Square.

Above location will lead you to the connectors to The Gardens Mall.

After arrive at The Gardens Mall, i straight away take the escalator up 3rd Floor. Ground Floor, 1st Floor and 2nd Floor are those shops selling branded handbags, shoes, shirts etc. 3rd Floor mostly target those youngsters with digital gadgets, books, toys etc.

Apple Machine Store and Samsung Store have a lot of customers, except Nokia Store. Sad for Nokia.

I had Sushi Zanmai twice, one is in The Gardens with my parents. Another time is with my cosplayer friends at Fahrenheit 88, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. Long queue in front of restaurant is getting as normal in holiday.

Doraemon World 2012 at Genting Highland

While everyone ends their Chinese New Year holiday and going back to their job or studies, i went to Genting Highland to visit Doraemon.

This is a very good chance to visit during low peak season in Genting Highland, no long queues.

After inspecting my car before climbing the hill ... it is okay to leave my house at 0700 in the early morning.

This is my 1st time driving up to Genting Highland. Last time only take shuttle bus from KL Sentral to Genting because the road is too steep and my car cannot go up.

I reached there too early, decided to make a early lunch at the Good Friends Express in Maxims Genting Hotel. After that i make my way to the Genting WorldCard service centre. My mom needs to replace her damaged member card after swiping it millions of times at the petrol station.

Up stair is the casino and down stair is the indoor arcade.

After replacing the card, straight going to the Theme Park to purchase my ticket to enter Doraemon World. The price for adults is MYR$35 and children is MYR$30.

The admission fees are included one limited edition of Doraemon Touch n Go card [ Photos down there ]

Doraemon World 2012 has used up Genting Arena of Stars, which is a concert hall where international artists held their concert and the Genting waterpark.

Because Doraemon World is just like a showroom which brings characters in the comic into life ... and they make the character in the paperboard. So means we can't simply touch the items because it is fragile.

And thats why going into the showroom requires a tour-guide, which he/she will lead everyone into character's room.

For me i just study and put cosplay aside.
Should saying that this year, 2012 is the year that i taking SPM (Sijil Pendidikan Menengah, aka Middle Education Certificate ).

This exam is a important examination,
to determined whether i can qualified for further studies.

My aim is to study at local Malaysia college then only think about going to Japan and study.

If i can make it to Japan, probably can bring my Malaysian friends go there ( as i promised ).

Lunch at Little Pantry Cafe , IOI Mall Puchong

A comic magazine that sells in Malaysia , 漫畫周刊 ( Comic Weekly ) , had reported it . So i take a chance and have a visit of this unique cafe .

1st i really thought that Little Pantry Cafe is a "maid cafe" , but really i do mistaken about this . It is just an ordinary cafe .

When I entered the restaurant , waitress dress up as maid , guided me into the cafe .

After the waitress settled me down at the table , she passed me the menu ( as shown just now ) . Discovered all pages inside the menu and i finally ordered Set Lunch .

This set lunch includes main course , soup of the day , ice lemon tea and cake of the day .

After my meal , i had a walk around the cafe . This cafe has two space , one is the open space ( for normal dining ) , another one is closed space ( for special events ) .

The waitress explained to me about the closed space , this closed space is specially designed for those who want to organize a birthday party , gathering etc .

After i paid the bill , i had a walk to the bar counter , have a look at the cakes they displayed .

Before i leave , i take this photo again because it is nice .

This lunch total cost me around MYR$17.20 and what i think it is affordable .

Although this cafe is still new and service maybe not that good .

And the food portion is a bit small .

Somehow i feeling will come back again soon , with my friend .

Asia Games Channel + Cosplay gathering at e@curve and Ikano

Firstly congratulate to Asia Games Channel , successfully make its 1st outlet in e@curve at 23 January 2011 . According to the official news , it will be one of the largest gaming outlet in Malaysia and soon will expand their business to Northern , Southern of Malaysia and even Singapore too .

Thanks for the invitation from Allen Yap , the captain of COSPLAY-FUN . I have already prepared myself for that day . I did check all my camera , recorders , transportation schedule etc , before this event .... 0w0

RapidKL buses actually feel not bad anyway , maybe my area's bus doesn't seems lots of residents use it ... Especially in the morning , if no traffic jam to and from KL city center , the bus will mostly arrive in time . As scheduled , the bus was arrived at 9am sharp . That really makes my life more easier .

For me , i love taking public transport to my destination . Driving is not preferable by me , probably i haven't got my driving permit yet ... = = But always feel that taking train is the most better way to arrive my destination , especially on overseas . If you look through my Facebook photos , you will saw kind lots of photos taken from train ....

In Malaysia , train are usually reminded Malaysians as "lousy" .... Yeah , train spoiled quite lots of times in Malaysia , especially in peak/rush hour ...

Actually for normal people , if they didn't see something special before , they will keep looking at it . And that is our situation . After arrive at Sushi King , we all people look like a crowd of people go inside Sushi King and rob money . Awww ... We all cosplayers got to like reserved a part of the restaurant .... We laugh quite loudly actually , and people outside the restaurant is keep on looking at us .... = = ''

Trip to Sunway Pyramid before Chinese New Year

So actually there is 2 weeks more to celebrate Chinese New Year here , so i decided to call my parents to bring me to Sunway Pyramid Shopping Center for a new year shopping .

That's why when it is going to near Chinese New Year , most of the shopping centers in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor here become crowded . Most of them will bring their families to shopping centers and shopping , mostly for clothes or decorations , or even hampers ...

For me , shopping is kind of boredom . Nah , not to say that but i love " window shopping " .... Well this time i went inside the Daiso Japan shop ( same kind of 100 Yen shop ) , and it takes me around 1 1/2 hours inside that shop . Inside the shop they sell lots of things that imported from Japan . My mum was STRUGGLING of reading Japanese that printed on the Japanese product and i helped her translate ... = = ''

I almost used up another half an hour to drink that "yummy" coffee ... ^^ While walking from the new part of Sunway Pyramid to old part of Sunway Pyramid ... I founded that the old side of Sunway Pyramid just looks something different . Maybe is the lighting or Chinese New Year decorations .

Luckily i chosen today to come to Sunway Pyramid , you know what ... the people here is less because it is school hours ( lol did i revealed i go skipping the school ? )

Okay my stomach just send me a notification that he needs something , so he ordered my body to move to this restaurant , Sakae Sushi . This Japanese cuisine serves varieties of Japanese sushi , ramen and set meals .

After a very warm welcome of the restaurant's waitress , she leaded parents and i to the desired seat . Well i founded that this restaurant is so KAWAII ~ Frog mascot ... xD

Then eventually i found a mouse that "lay" beside the chopstick box and i move the mouse , then it shows this interactive menu on the monitor screen at my seat ... That's great ! Even Sushi King doesn't even have that ! I love this system ... because customers just order their food by only one click on the mouse .

New Year Eve cosplay picnic + photoshooting @ Taman Permaisuri , Kuala Lumpur

Well because quite lots of cosplayer miss for cosplay photoshoot after the Comic Fiesta 2010 , a team of cosplayers decided to go to Taman Permaisuri lake for a cosplay picnic + photoshooting

Me and Douji arrived at Bandar Tun Razak LRT Station around 10am , then representative Tan XiaoQi come and pick us to the local restaurant for a break . Then we directly go to her house and have a rest before going out to photoshoot . Other cosplayers arrived after few minutes later .

Well Comic Fiesta is Malaysia's biggest ACG event . So this year i won't miss out again because last year i missed Comic Fiesta . This events almost attracted 12 000 visitors , most of them from Malaysia and even some is from Singapore ! OMG !!

Actually this year's Comic Fiesta is a very important event for me , not only can witnesses the "feeling" of ACG , but is also my 1st cosplay at public !

Actually i just waited around 30 minutes , then suddenly the staff asked for people who wants to buy 2 days ticket to move in front ... And because i already confirmed that the next day will be back so that's why i skipped the long queue ...

After a nice nice nice ...... break at home , me travel again to Berjaya Times Square to attend Comic Fiesta 2010 ....

I already got my tickets for Day 2 so i no need to queue up again ... ^^ And today i am going to cosplay as Kaito from Vocaloid .... everything just so new to me xD

No more crowded ? No is just a mistake ...

Surprisingly Day 2 seems not much people , compare with Day 1 ~

One of the reason is the management of the Comic Fiesta have founded that the previous location of the ticket booth is too crowded .... so that's why they changed the location

Another reason maybe is most of the visitors had already visited Day 1 , then they thought Day 2 is the same as Day 1 ~

And about the Comic Fiesta 2010 , for me is just too crowded , especially the selling booth ... they sold a lots of anime stuff , but unfortunately i don't have enough money to buy it .... = = ''

At last , i still going back early and i heard that the end of the Comic Fiesta , all of the cosplayers gathered on the stage and dance Caramelldansen ... That's what i missed

Okay , that's all i can tell ~ Hope next year's Comic Fiesta will be more greater !

Gotta a new PC

this is happen at September and i delayed to post this blog due to my school's exam ...

The week before Malaysia's Merdeka Day ... my house was breakin and every thing lost
My precious things is my PC ... being stolen by burglar ....

That day onwards , i go to the http://www.dell.com.my/ ( at my uncle's PC ) and look for latest deals of my next PC .... then i purchase DELL INSPIRON 53Os ....

The PC quite beautiful and soundless ... and because it can upgrade my PC's 17'' LCD Monitor so i upgraded it to 19'' ....

Long time didn't log in Blogspot ...

My computer last few weeks breakdown twice , so cannot use computer . Now my computer laggin always ... i have to turn on and off for more than 5 times before the system is stable . After that i changed my desktop appearence then "okay" a bit .... HAIZZ ....

My last year's photo , documents and many things all " bye bye " , because my computer's hard disk corrupted , so had to change hard drive at the first time my system down . Then the second time was at last week , the new installed system Windows XP Proffesional Edition SP2 was spoiled again . So i have to install XP Home Edition to my system . . . Then i have to find back the Network Adapter and Sound xxx ......

Just hope not to happens again ...
